By Alan O’Hashi from True Stories of a Mediocre Writer

My NAFTA business partner, Faustino Lopez, and I posed at our bonded warehouse in McAllen, Texas. He died of cancer which put an end to our manufacturing project in Sombrerete, Zacatecas in Mexico.

I have two entrepreneurial war stories. One is about a fling in food processing. What I learned from that is not to manufacture anything that has a shelf life.

I’d tell the tale, but too many people are still alive to do the story justice.
