4. Perfect or Imperfect?

My first writing gig was for “The Tumbleweed” newspaper published by Carey Junior High School. In art class, I learned to draw perspective and came up with a logo for my “Poet’s Corner” column. “Rubiyat” was reference to a bit on “Rocky and Bullwinkle” which was about a Ruby Yacht.

Perfectionism is the voice of the oppressor, the enemy of the people. It will keep you cramped and insane your whole life, and it is the main obstacle between you and a shitty first draft.
